O-Cup Race #4: This race with be in the O-Cross format. Details of this style of course is available here.
Kids O-Cup race: 2.5km mass start race. All on trail or with marked off-trail routes.
The kids race is being held in conjuction with the Adventure Running Kids Snow Day. After the Kids O-Cup race, there lots of snowy fun and games are planned for afterwards! To register for the Snow Day go to the main page here.

Local Adventure Race directors are hosting an 'Adventure Racing Story Swap' in nearby Bolton after the O-Cup starting at 12:30pm. Learn about info for the upcoming season and presentations from local adventure racers. Details to RSVP and further info can be found here.

Adults $20, Juniors (-19) $10, Family $40.
For insurance purposes, entry fee includes 2013 GHO membership. Race fee also includes HST.

In an effort to streamline event procedures and reduce the environmental cost of printing excess maps, we are moving to an online registration system. Participants who do not register in advance are welcome to come on race day for a $25 entry fee, but please arrive early, as there will only be 10 extra maps available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event will use Sport Ident timing. Please include your Sport Ident number when registering. If you need to rent a Sport Ident card, select the checkbox on the entry form and you will be charged a $3 rental fee.
All participants MUST pre-register using the online registration system.

O-Cup Handicap |
The O-Cup Chase course uses The Handicap Orienteering Method And Scoring System (THOMASS). The O-Cup Chase course will feature two boxes of 6 checkpoints which participants may visit in any order. Participants have the option to skip checkpoints in the box equal to their handicap point total. Handicap points for this year's chase will be awarded as follows:
6 - Women 12 or younger, Men 12 or younger, Women 65 or older
5 - Women 14 or younger, Men 14 or younger, Women 55 or older, Men 75 or older
4 - Women 16 or younger, Men 16 or younger, Women 45 or older, Men 65 or older
3 - Women 19 or younger, Women 35 or older, Men 55 or older
2 - Women 20 to 34, Women ranked in the top 10 in Canada, Men 45 or older
1 - Men 19 or younger, Men 35 or older
0 - Men 20 to 34, Men ranked in the top 10 in Canada

Compass, Sport Ident card (required and available for rent) Please dress appropriately for the weather. Although not mandatory, snowshoes may prove beneficial depending on conditions. |

Directions: |
Palgrave Conservation Area parking lot off Duffys Lane.
IMPORTANT: In the winter, Duffys Lane is barricaded from the North. You MUST turn on to Duffys via Patterson Side Road.
From Highway 410, take the Mayfield Road exit. Head north-east on Mayfield for 5km, then turn left onto Airport Rd. After 15km, turn right onto Patterson Sideroad. After 7km, turn left onto Duffys Lane and follow all the way to parking.
Allow 30-40 mins from Highway 410 depending on driving conditions.
