Mark Tarnopolsky racing out of the start on his way to a win at the Canadian Ski Orienteering Championships at Mansfield, Ontario.

Golden Horseshoe Orienteering took three gold medals at the 2010 Canadian Ski Orienteering Championships yesterday at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre. Mark Tarnopolsky led a sweep of the men's elite category with Hans Fransson and Mike Waddington taking 2nd and 3rd, respectively while Barb Campbell and Richard Ehrlich each took gold in the masters categories. The race courses offerred fast route choice selection on a dense trail network.

Golden Horseshoe Orienteering members also swept the top three places  with their teams (1st: Wildernesstraverse.ca, 2nd: Treehuggers, 3rd: Milton Basement Racers) at a Winter Adventure Race at Wasaga Beach on Saturday. Full results here.
