You may start as early as 4 PM!
The location details for each Thursday Adventure Nite will be posted on the web site. The location is different each week, so this is a great opportunity to get to know new areas in and around Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Waterdown and Burlington.
How does it work? Each week, 10-15 checkpoints will be marked on a pre-printed map. Participants can start any time between 4 and 6 PM and can visit as many checkpoints as they wish in any order. There is no timing, but you have to sign in with the Adventure Nite host and must let him or her know when you are back. No pre-registration is necessary. A certain number of checkpoints each week will be especially suitable for Adventure Running Kids and their families.
The Adventure Nites are only open to members of Golden Horseshoe Orienteering and Adventure Running Kids. Membership can only be purchased online, and we ask that Thursday Nite participants purchase their membership prior to their first Adventure Nite. The membership fee is $20 for adults, $10 for juniors, and $50 for families. A Golden Horseshoe Orienteering membership is included in the Adventure Running Kids program.
