TRAINING (Hamilton, ON)
To improve as an adventure runner, adventure racer, orienteer or trail runner one must be able to run faster and stronger in a variety of terrain. Therefore all the technical aspects adventure running that a participant could face during a race must be practiced.
Join Dongetlost Adventure Running members at our training sessions. We offer training opportunities three times a week from September to June.
To participate in this training you must purchase a Dontgetlost Adventure Running 'Adventure Card'.
TUESDAY NIGHT TRAINING (17:30)
Our main interval running training session each week is Tuesday Night Training (TNT!) on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm.
We meet in the meet at Churchill Park in Westdale, outside the small building near the junction of Devon Place and Parkside Drive. We begin with a leisurely jog around the park and then break into different groups for the intervals. Adventure Runners, trail runners and adventure racers of all fitness levels are welcome. Directions to Chedoke Golf Club are here: Exit Hwy 403 in Hamilton at Aberdeen. Take the first left at the lights onto Longwood St. Follow Longwood through two sets of lights and turn left onto Devon St.Park anywhere on Parkside.
