Ted de St. Croix Athlete of the Year Award The Ted de St. Croix Athlete of the Year Award is awarded annually to the Dontgetlost Adventure Running athlete from our GHO, AR, XCT and/or Juniors groups that has the best adventure running, cross country running, orienteering, trail running and/or adventure racing results during that calender year. The award consists of a prize pack and free Dontgetlost Adventure Running membership in the following racing season. Ted de St. Croix was a member of the Niagara Orienteering Club and won many Canadian and North American Orienteering Champs while living in Niagara. Ted placed 10th at the 1985 World Orienteering Championships - the best ever by a North American man.
